Hey all! Sorry for the delay in getting this update out, I got Married on the 25th of June and I have been on my honeymoon ever since, and I am actually posting this update from there. I should have posted one before I left but with the wedding and everything I just could not find the time until now.
Onto the update.
Finally. The manufacturer is actually sending me proof that the pins are being made. They sent me an image of Lust and have claimed a few others are completed as well and will send pictures soon. Right now I am trying to get confirmation from them that they don’t have the same issues as before (scratching, tarnishing, etc). I’m praying to whatever gods there are that they don’t. Because I am not sure I will stay sane if I have to go through this again.
I was about to fire them and re-pay to have them made from another company too. Of course, as soon as I made that threat is when they start sending me pictures. Hahaha.
Onto another issue I’ve been getting a lot of messages about:
I’ve been getting several messages from people asking for me to update their address so I thought I’d make a public update about it. Everyone’s addresses in BackerKit have been unlocked since January and you can freely update it as needed until I start fulfillment again. How do you know if yours is unlocked, you ask? If you havent received your package yet, which is most of you, then your address is unlocked and you can change it whenever you want.
Everyone will receive a notification when I start locking them again and after that point, you will have 48 hours to make any last minute changes before they are locked again. This most likely will not happen until August or September at the earliest so you have plenty of time.
I will post more updates as I recieve them from the manufacturer, but not before I get home from my vacation. You will not hear from me again until after that.

Hey all, I hope your week is going well, or at least, better than mine!
I received news a few days ago that my pins have still not been remade. I keep getting excuse after excuse from this manufacturer. This time, they said they outsourced my pins to another company, who had to shut down because of COVID and so the pins weren't made, so now they have to do them. (Gee, maybe you could have just done that in the first place...sigh.)
Anyways, I finally got an answer out of them. This time, they claim 20-22 days for the pins to be remade again. Though at this point I'll be impressed if they follow through.
Assuming they actually get remade and they don't get screwed up again, this means that I won't be receiving them until the end of may or early June.
Which unfortunately means this: it's more likely than not that I will not be able to continue fulfillment for this until after my wedding, which is at the end of June. Assuming the pins get remade, and remade well, and are actually sent to me, I am going to try my best to get back to fulfilling them mid/late July or early August. I know that's a long time...but this is out of my hands.
I'm really sorry y'all. I wish this project hadn't ended up being so cursed, but I want to thank you all again for always being so kind and patient with the ridiculous amount of issues that have cropped up during this campaign.
